Last week the gang from Engadget was at CES, just like anyone else with an interest, and expertise in consumer electronics, as well as a lot of folks who are just plain tech heads. When they got their hands on the Polaroid Kid’s Tablet they could not help but do the one thing we all want to do when a formerly delicate item is now fitted with the “just for kids” labeling. They wanted to throw the darn thing on the ground!
When they did, it was a moment of pride for the folks at Polaroid as their Kid’s Tablet remained in one piece with nary a scuff to be seen. The people Engadget even made a fun video where they briefly discuss the project and promptly drop it on the floor. The tumble is really rather encouraging for anyone looking for the right computer tablet for a precocious child. You would have to put some serious effort in to do damage to the Polaroid Kid’s Tablet.
If you are considering buying your son or daughter a Kindle alternative, the video below should be a helpful indicator of just how durable this model is. Watch and marvel at this durable piece of tech.
